Eric Mellin: Who Could the Caps Target on LW or C? The Caps may have to fill some holes via Free Agency.

That is the first time Mason Raymond has EVER been mentioned alongside the word "toughness".
Dude has the physique of a malnourished baby bird.

from what I've heard, it sounds like Grabo wants to sign with the same team as Kulemin. I wonder if WSH even really has room for the both of them (room not cap room)

Mason Raymond? Provide toughness? dude have you even seen him play?

Malnourished baby bird would be the best way to describe him. You should also try the Mason Raymond drinking game, every time he falls you take a shot. Most of us are usually drunk by the end of the first period...

A trade would have to be made to free a roster spot up, but Kulemin could certainly replace some of the others.

Olli Jokinen!! Michael Handzus!! Saku Koivu!! David Booth!! DANY FREAKN' HEATLEY!! Wow, what a boatload of suck! Not one of these guys helps this lineup at all, they're all has beens and barely NHLers any more. If this is what we're looking at, the Caps really are in a world of hurt!!

Move Ovie back to LW and sign Hemsky. That has the potential to be sick but not a lot of backchecking is going to happen.

my guess is ovi is moved back to LW. as far as grabo goes and upgrading the forward position...that's gonna have to wait until we upgrade the defense first. GMBM has said in an interview his #1 priority is defense, so he's probably waiting to see how much that is going to cost before upgrading elsewhere.
